Eurozone economic sentiment better than expected in June — ZEW
(Alliance News) - Economic sentiment in the eurozone was brighter than anticipated in June, data published by ZEW showed Tuesday.
The eurozone's economic sentiment index improved to 35.3 in June from 11.6 in May, easily overshooting FXStreet-cited expectations of a milder uptick to 23.5.
Its economic situation indicator improved to minus 30.7 points in June from minus 42.4 in May.
Some 200 analysts and institutional investors participated in the June 2025 ZEW financial market survey, which was conducted in the period from June 6 to 16.
